Research interests

Biological sciences have experienced a revolution in the last decades with the development of high-throughput technologies that opened up a global vision and made feasible the dissection of the fundamental mechanisms of life to an unprecedented scale. Research activities include the analysis, integration and interpretation of genomic-level data to generate a better understanding of physiological condition and diseases. The activities include the development of novel tools and methods, the improvement of state-of-the-art approaches with an interest in high performance computing, analysis pipeline automation, reproducibility and the creation of publicly available resources, data collection and integration with network and systemic approaches.
